Capel History Group is a small team of Capel residents with an interest in local history. They conduct research into a wide variety of topics, record the memories of older residents, maintain an archive of photographs and documents of historical interest, stage occasional exhibitions and answer queries. They have published three books on parish history; Capel Explored (2007), Capel Explored Two (2013) and Capel Explored Three (2019). Copies of the most recent volume are on sale in Five Oak Green Post Office and the churches in Capel and Tudeley.
