I have lived in the Parish since 2005 and during that time I have contributed to the community through my involvement with Capel Primary School PTA, as a member of the Friends of Capel Church and more recently as Vice Chair and Ladies’ Captain for Capel Cricket Club as well as part of the Save Capel Campaign.
My background was in retail and leisure management, until 2011, when I decided to change careers. In 2016, I attained a first class law degree having studied part time with the Open University whilst working full time and raising my two sons, who are now aged eleven and fifteen. I was called to the Bar at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn on 22 November 2019. I am currently the part time manager for the Paddock Wood Community Advice Centre and I also undertake voluntary work for the organisation.
As Parish Councillor, my goals are to improve road safety, protect the environment, reduce the impact of flooding and promote health and wellbeing for all residents.
