Help play your part on Census day
There’s just over a month to go until the Census 2021, the biggest survey of our population. Census 2021, happening on Sunday 21 March, takes place every ten years and provides valuable information about households across the UK. By completing it, you will be contributing to the planning of services, whilst helping to shape your community for the next ten years.
Census 2021 will be digital 1st, and in these Covid-19 lockdown times everyone is encouraged to use their computers, laptops or smartphones to complete their Census Questionnaire. Paper questionnaires will be available on request.
There will be a range of support services available. A freephone number, online chat and information email addresses. Guidance in numerous languages. and accessible formats, including large print.
Every household will receive a letter at the beginning of March with their unique access code to enable you to complete the Census online and you can start filling yours in as soon as you receive your code.
